    PSYCHIATRIC MEDICATION MANAGMENT

Medication management is a level of outpatient treatment that involves the initial evaluation of your need for recommended therapies, psychoactive medications, the provision of a prescription, and ongoing medical monitoring related to your use of the psychoactive medication. This is provided by Elizabeth McGee as the prescriber and Kathy Lawrence, offering mental health support, and clinical oversight.

    TELE-MENTAL HEALTH SUPPORT

Both Elizabeth and Kathy utilize tele-health to offer virtual support to provide therapy, consultation and medication management. We value your privacy and use online services that provide complete HIPAA compliance and security. We currently are supporting individuals who reside in the state of Indiana for these services who have Medicare &/or Medicaid only.

    PARTNERSHIP

Elizabeth and Kathy have been partnering together to provide psychiatric and behavioral supports to people with disabilities, their families, and caregivers for the last 10 years. We are eager to offer our passion, talents, and unique expertise and experience in positively impacting people to lead enriching lives.

ELIZABETH: MY PRESCRIBING PRACTICE & PHILOSOPHY

Medications can be helpful in a comprehensive treatment plan. For some patients, medications can help with symptoms which may prevent reaching certain goals such as improved anger management or obsessive thoughts which can be paralyzing.

Elizabeth's philosophy is to use the least medication at the lowest effective doses. Genetics can be one determinant of how medications are metabolized. Some patients are able to experience improvement with low doses while others may need higher doses.

Medication evaluations will focus on goal setting and how effectively this is being accomplished if medications are part of your individual treatment plan. Potential side effects will be reviewed and addressed if present. Medication evaluations are typically monthly initially, and then may be less frequent once medication is established.
